WHO ARE WE?

Founded in 2009, Lexical knows small businesses because we are one. Our business model is completely scalable to fit our clients' project needs, whether it's a simple marketing plan or a full-scale branding solution. Lexical was founded upon the premise of providing quality, plain and simple.

Atlanta is awash with successful small- to medium-sized businesses, but there is a dearth of quality service providers to help those businesses excel. Huge corporations hire in-house staff to serve their marketing and public relations needs, but the average business can’t afford to do that. Unfortunately, many local third-party marketing companies prey upon this service-level gap, providing low levels of service and quality at big-business prices.

Lexical aims to change that.

Maggie Kempken
Founder and Principal

Maggie has more than ten years experience in B2B and B2C marketing, ranging from luxury products and five-star restaurants, to technical associations, after-school care providers, a third-party conference planning business, a medical software solutions firm and an eco-friendly flatware and tableware distributor. Her diverse experiences have built the flexibility and knowledge of a professional who has provided results for many different clients.

Beginning her career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of Atlanta, Maggie spent more than five years marketing and promoting the hotels’ restaurants, including The Dining Room, Georgia’s only Mobil five-star rated restaurant, for more than a decade. Her Ritz-Carlton training, including a week-long intensive training for the corporate public relations directors, also provided her with the know-how to craft standards of quality that far exceed expectations.

The Ritz-Carlton’s brand standards are consistently sought by business experts, as well as other Fortune 500 companies, via the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, a training program designed to help other successful companies achieve the same level of mystique that the Ritz-Carlton name implies.

Since leaving the Ritz-Carlton in 2006, Maggie has been serving as a marketing manager a third-party conference planning and association management company that services clients ranging in size to large-scale corporations. Maggie also helped implement a comprehensive marketing and public relations plans to support the company’s business development goals.
